I really feel in the groove these days playing 3-6 HU. Granted my hands are holding this month against the 65/35s and the 80/20s but im getting the money in good at a rate of about 90% which is a very good stat that whether your hands are holding or not you have to be proud of. Im finally at a level where Im way more then sufficiently bankrolled and I play with no fear/stress and thats a lethal combination.
Last night was no exception. I’ve been murdering the “short stacks” lately. I know some regulars like my friend thankqeher won’t play anyone under half the full buy in but I find these guys such dead money that i’ve been playin anyone that buys in for 120 and higher. I’ve developed a very patient/agressive gameplan that exploits them and gives me a very high win rate vs them. This month short stackers have probably accounted for at least 60% of my profit.
I don’t remember too many hands last night other then some people just playing terribly. For example. I play this short stack who bought in for 240. I get him down to 190 or so and i have j 9. I make it 18 he makes it 42 i call. Flop is J 6 2. He bets out 80 and has like 60 left..i put him in and he calls with 10 7 for no pair or draw basically drawing dead. It was really a series of hands like that last night that got me up about 700. I was then able to stack a full buy player to get up to 1300 when i played this guy who bought in for 300. He got up on me early crushing the deck, I was able to pull back even with him when he reraised me pre to 52 , I had AK and made it 160 and he shipped it in, I called and it was a race he had 8 8 and I had A K …. flop …. 8 high 
rofl…its funny how I literally can’t win a cash game race…turn was a king to just make me feel worse and that was that. He left shortly after and I stopped up 1100 for the night.
After that I met dana outside in front of our apartment with our neighbor who has a cute little bulldog and i smoked a nice cigar and had a jack and diet out there and we let our two dogs play. It was a great way to end the night and i went to bed extremely relaxed.
