Friday night we stayed in. It was good as I was exausted and just played a little poker and called it a night early as I was doing this community service thing, City meals, at 10:30am. Saturday I woke up early for the City Meals. After delivering the meals for the elderly I went back home and played some poker. I wanted to win the amount I was going to be spending on the night since I was buying a bottle at Home for some of my friends. Poker cooperated as I was able to win about 700 during the day. We all went over to radersquads at 9:30 for the pregaming. We wanted to pregame hard and then get 2 bottles out at the club. We ended up doing 3 jaeger bombs, each had about 3 vodka redbulls and a vodka soda and we were ready to go. We arrived at the club Home at around 11:30. We got right in with the bottle reservations and got put at a table right on the dancefloor. We ordered up 2 bottles of goose and the night started. The club was cool, very small but packed and great music. The music was so loud it was tough to hear anyone talk but other then that it was a cool place. We danced a bunch hung out and got utterly wasted. I don’t really remember leaving except that it was extremely late. Once at the apartment I obviously loaded up Full Tilt and was like yeah I can play anyone now. I played DCFIREBALL10 whos a regular at 5-10 and took about 2k from him and played this other regular at 5-10 and beat him for 1.2k and called it a night at 5:30am. I don’t know what it is with the drunk poker but the drunker I am and the less I even know if I’m playing the better I do…..wierd right?
Sunday I woke up around 11:30ish to a thumping headache and my stomach was killing me. I decided to go outside for a nice walk to hope the air helped and it did for a while but this wasn’t one of those hangovers that was going to go away easily. I took a late afternoon nap and got up just in time for the 6pm tournies on Full Tilt. Sillydonkey44 came over and we played the 750K and the 35K together. Im still upset so not going to get into a long rant here…but silly lost with 280 to go in the 750k guarentee losing 7’s to A Q with an Ace on the river that would have put him at average stack. I then make a deep run in the 35K and with 40 left push 88 over two calls and get called by 7 7 , i procede to flop a set and an 93% to win but lose to runner runner diamond. I was devasted as I woulda been top 5 in chips with less then 40 to go. Such is tournament poker but seems all to common lately.
