Ever since signing up for the PokerXFactor Subscription I’ve been trying to really make an effort to improve my tournament play. I think its worked and really feel more in control of each stage of the tournament and I’m able to build stacks without getting the cards. I am however not getting any monetary results which is the most frusterating part for a cash game player who is used to seeing the results immeadiatly.
Last night was no different. I play the $163 tourny with Radersquad and about 30 minutes into there are 5 limpers to me at the 20-40 level and i have KK and make it 260 and get 2 callers. The pots 800 and the flop comes 10h 6h 2x. Its checked to me and i bet 550 and the first guy folds and second ones shoves and I beat him into the pot and he shows Kh 7h. Drawing to only hearts and turn of course is the heart. I just can’t seem to hold the hands where im a 65% favorite in these things. I guess if I continually get it in good eventually i’ll see the results but right now I don’t know if I have the patience for that.
Onto some other things. Im going to Isreal this sunday so getting ready for that. Dana comes back saturday so have to meet her at the airport and give our dog to her parents since they are watching him while we are gone. Other then that not much else is going on. I got my final round interview on thursday at AIG so wish me luck there. Hope to update soon with some good news and maybe a big score since FTOPS starts wednesday.
